MEDPAC Matters !!!
Our collective voice
as physicians should be as strong and loud as ever. It’s no secret that when you
put your money where your mouth is, your voice is greatly amplified. Your support
of SCMA’s MEDPAC makes your voice heard.
In today’s political arena, other politically-focused groups
in
South Carolina
already know that the combination of effective lobbying and member involvement goes
a long way to influence legislators. But when combined with a strong political action
committee, activism and monetary support create a powerful presence in the eyes
of
South Carolina
lawmakers and political candidates.
In fact, they know without the support of contributors, carrying
out a full-scale campaign would be nearly impossible. MEDPAC is our way of letting
legislators and political candidates know that SC physicians are united and willing
to support those who understand the importance of health care in our state.
We are
the leading authority for health care, but we need to strengthen our influence with
MEDPAC support from you. We shouldn’t allow other contributors to have the final
word on the
practice of medicine or health care in our state. That’s for us to decide.
But they could, so this is a call to action: become a MEDPAC contributor now! Strengthen
the collective voice of physicians at our Statehouse.
