CME Accreditation
The SCMA is a recognized institution for CME through the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME®).
The SCMA currently accredits 17 organizations in
South Carolina as CME providers.

CME Activities
The South Carolina Medical Association is also an ACCME accredited CME provider.
The SCMA provides CME activities for members throughout the year. These activities
include the Scientific Assembly at the SCMA Annual Meeting, the Risk Management
Seminar, and the CME Accreditation Workshop as well as several practice management
symposiums.
The SCMA also jointly sponsors CME activities with
other statewide organizations.
