The SCMA relies on committee member volunteers in order to promote the goals of our organization, and we currently have opportunities in the following committees:

Continuing Medical Education (CME) Committee
In order to facilitate the growing number of CME activities that our organization offers, we are looking for several volunteers for the CME Committee. This committee meets quarterly in order to facilitate CME activities and provide support to our 17 accredited CME providers. The CME Committee relies on its volunteers to conduct site surveys around the state and to moderate educational sessions at the SCMA Annual Meeting. Occupational Medicine Committee
The Occupational Medicine Committee serves as a liaison between the SCMA and its member physicians and the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Commission, as well as serves as a resource for the SCMA in the field of occupational medicine. The committee works to further education and training in the area of occupational health. This committee meets quarterly throughout the year. For more information, please contact Tara Stewart.
