The Journal of the South Carolina Medical Association is published by the South Carolina Medical Association. Publication alternates monthly between printed (even months) and electronic (odd months as needed) formats. 

Content includes scientific articles, special articles, case reports, as well as, medical news. Regular features include editorials, letters to the editor, a letter from the  President, Alliance updates, and association news.
